How a Home Printer Could Have Saved Me So Much Trouble

Updated: 1 day ago

Hi, I’m Patty Fitzer, and here’s a little story about how not having a home printer turned a simple task into a big hassle.

One weekend, I needed to print some forms for my daughter's school—just basic permission slips. I figured I’d quickly run to the nearest print shop. Sounds simple, right? Well, not exactly.

First, I had to drive around looking for an open shop. When I found one, there was a line. I waited, got the forms printed, and drove back home—wasting way more time than I had planned for. All this for something I could have handled in minutes if I’d had a printer at home.

If I’d just printed those forms from the comfort of my living room, I would have saved myself the drive, the wait, and the unnecessary stress. The convenience of a home printer is unbeatable when you need something done quickly, and you don’t have to rely on external services.

Lesson learned: sometimes, the little conveniences—like having a printer at home—can make a world of difference!
